Finger Piers
Turners Island is in the process of building three (3) 90’ Finger Piers extending to a berth that will accept a 680’ vessel, ship, tug, barge, etc. These additional Finger Piers will allow our company to become more diversified in the products that can be imported and exported from our facility in South Portland, Maine.
Turners Island has a geographic location serving the Northeast, closest to Europe and en route to the St. Lawrence Seaway. The possibilities are endless in the handling of cargo- i.e. petroleum, bulk products, stone, etc.
